About Skyview

Here at Skyview, we (mother & daughter) breed & raise the healthiest, most wonderful tempered Irish Setters. We are both vet techs at our local veterinary clinic with over 30 years experience combined. 

We are located in rural Essex County, Virginia - about an hour from Richmond, Gloucester & Fredericksburg areas. 

All of our dogs have been tested & are 100% cleared through Embark along with getting routine vet checks to maintain the upmost care & health. 

Our top priorities are to ensure health, safety, and excellent genetics to produce & allow the best Irish Setter puppies possible. 

Our puppies are raised on a small farm & home raised. We believe socialization and familiarization are important keys in a confident dog. We introduce the puppies to different sounds and scenarios: to include our farm cat, the outdoors, stairs, different sounds, touch, concrete & much more for a well-rounded suitable lifestyle. 

Dogs aren't just animals to our family, they are chosen family members that we love just as equally- if not more!

We do not offer "back-to-back" breedings on our females, meaning we have about two litters per year.
